Hi, my name is Tom Walsh and I am a manufacture of high quality hurls. I am originally from Slieverue, a small village in south Kilkenny near the Kilkenny Waterford border. I am now living and based in Kilmurray, Trim, Co. Meath where I set up my hurley making workshop producing hurls since 2007.
Hurl making has evolved through the years with players demanding more from their equipment, the single most important thing in the game of hurling is the hurley itself. With this in mind I take time to listen to what the customer wants and I take pride in creating and producing an excellent quality hurl to suit each individual player.
It can be very difficult to find an exact replica of that hurl you became used to playing with over the past few months but I am happy to discuss the finer points with you which will help me produce the hurl that suits you best. I also repair hurls, no matter how badly they are broken I can fix them. Of course if the hurl is broken in half then it’s not worth repairing. All of my customers will be dealt with in a professional and friendly manner.
